We are seeking a Program Manager – Regulatory Reform to join our team on a 12-month Temporary Full-Time, basis with the possibility of an extension. The role will be based at Sydney Olympic Park with hybrid work options.
We offer a competitive salary to the right candidate with total remuneration package ranging from $139,787 up to $161,663 per annum plus 11% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading.

About the role
The Program Manager – Regulatory Reform is responsible for leading the development and implementation of combat sports legislative reforms, including project management, budget preparation and monitoring, human resource planning and management, procurement, information management, and reform of operating procedures.
Providing strategic advice to the Combat Sports Authority of NSW and the Executive Director, Policy and Planning, this role contributes to the development, implementation and monitoring of the Directorate’s strategic business plan and the Combat Sports Authority Strategic Plan.

About you
Our ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

Excellent understanding of combat sport and motor sport legislative instruments and experience leading teams within a complex, multifunctional organisation and in a regulatory environment.
- Proven competency and drive, showcasing knowledge of relevant legislation, Government directions and policies relating to financial, HR risk management and asset management.

Demonstrated experience in providing accurate policy advice and recommendations on a range of complex issues to key stakeholders and decision makers.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment with a high volume and variety of tasks, competing priorities and tight deadlines.
