Australian Flying Disc Association (AFDA) Limited is recognised as the national sporting organisation responsible for flying disc sports (particularly Ultimate Frisbee and Disc Golf) in Australia.
Key AFDA activities include the planning and delivery of participation programs, including Sporting Schools; delivery of national open, women’s and mixed events for adult and youth age groups; advising, coordinating and supporting State members in delivering grassroots and pathway events and programs; ensuring the integrity of the sport; developing high level players and facilitating Australia’s national teams participating in international events under the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF).
Key Job Purpose:
The Legal Counsel and Integrity Manager will manage and administer the AFDA’s legal and integrity areas including the:
National Integrity Framework (NIF) and other AFDA integrity policies and processes into all levels of the sport to ensure participants have confidence that they are participating in a safe, clean, inclusive, and fair sport.
Provision of legal counsel, support, and work, in relevant matters, including agreements, contracts, disputes, governance, questions of law, constitutional and policy development, amongst others. The areas to be covered will include both sporting issues and business issues.
