Dominique Leroux, Head of Legal Affairs, International Testing Agency
Canadian and Swiss Attorney-at-law, sports enthusiast, University of McGill Law graduate, B.C.L./LL.B., member of the New York State Bar Association. Head of the Legal Anti-Doping Services at the Union Cycliste Internationale for seven years, she has been Head of the Legal Affairs at the International Testing Agency since its creation in 2018. The International Testing Agency (ITA) is an international organisation constituted as a not-for-profit foundation, based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Its mission is to manage anti-doping programs, independent from sporting or political powers, for International Federations, Major Event Organisers and all other anti-doping organisations requesting support. As such, the ITA delivered the anti-doping programs at the Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022 Olympic Games and works for over 40 different International Federations. In her capacity at the ITA, Dominique oversees the prosecution of anti-doping rule violations before first instance panels and the Court of Arbitration for Sport. The ITA legal affairs department is also in charge of various legal matters pertaining to the fields of anti-doping, contracts, intellectual property, data privacy and so forth.
Dominique has also been a member of the World Anti-Doping Agency Independent Observer Mission for the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. |
