7th International Lawyers World Cup - Sports Law Conference

Located at the University of Waikato’s Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts, this engaging collection of presentations explores contemporary issues in sports law, with a focus on the spirit of cricket, changes in the game, anti-doping, regulation & dispute resolution.

The Presenters include Sir John Hansen, Paul David QC, Lachlan Gyles SC, Anthony Crocker & Yasin Patel.

Following the conference, former NZ International Ervin McSweeney will join guests on the waterfront for drinks & canapés to share some tales of his colourful past with team mates Sir Richard Hadlee & Jeremy Coney MBE.

The conference is part of the 7th International Lawyers’ Cricket World Cup.
