Matilda McDonell is a current professional netballer with almost eight years’ experience at the elite level and a recent law graduate, holding a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Psychological Science from the University of New South Wales. She combines high-performance sporting experience with a strong interest in sports law, integrity and governance.

Matilda currently undertakes part-time work with Gymnastics Australia and Cricket NSW across legal, integrity and governance matters, and brings governance experience through her service as an elected Board Member of the Australian Netball Players Association. Passionate about the intersection of sport and law, Matilda is committed to promoting integrity, good governance and the development of emerging professionals within the sports law sector.
