Benji Batten is a Law Graduate at Clifford Chance in Perth, with a range of experience in sports law, spanning commercial, governance, integrity and dispute resolution matters.
He brings particular expertise in sports tribunals and arbitration, having worked as an Associate at ACICA, and as a research assistant for members of the Victorian Bar representing athletes and governing bodies before the National Sports Tribunal and the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Benji is a tribunal member for Basketball Western Australia and previously served as a tribunal panel member of the Western Football Netball League in Melbourne.
Benji holds a Juris Doctor from The University of Melbourne, where he served as the President of the Melbourne Sports Law Association, and in 2025 was subject tutor for the Sport and the Law undergraduate subject.
