Join expert guest speakers, Douglas Robinson (Deputy Chairman, ARF Council); James Porteous (Head of Research, ARF Council); and Tom Chignell (Member, ARF Council) as they give an overview of the work of the Asian Racing Federation Council on Anti-Illegal Betting and Related Financial Crime (ARF Council), and explain why illegal betting is an issue for regulators of racing and other sports. This is a special edition to showcase some of our ANZSLA members who are also Olympians.

With the Tokyo 2020 Olympics completed in very trying circumstances it is a great tribute to the IOC, the Tokyo Organising Committee, the Japanese Government, the athletes and everyone else involved that the Games were able to be held at all, let alone so successfully.

In addition to the athletes in this edition, Darren Boyd, a former ANZSLA member and former lawyer at Lander and Rogers in Melbourne was a swimming commentator on Australia’s Channel 7’s coverage of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics and then, showing his versatility, went on to commentate on other sports following the conclusion of the swimming events.
