Location:       Darlinghurst, New South Wales

 

Exciting opportunity exists to join newly established Australian office of leading global sports law firm, Onside Law (see https://www.onsidelaw.co.uk/australia/).

 

The primary purpose of the role is to provide direct support to the Head of the Australian Office across all aspects of Onside Law Australia and its current expansion.

 

The role will be genuinely varied with responsibilities across –

·        Legal research.

·        Client file support.

·        CRM / contact management.

·        Business and client generation.

·        Practice management and compliance.

·        Onside Law Australia marketing (digital & social).

·        Precedent management.

·        Office and Partner administrative support.

·        Commercial support across Partner’s sport and entertainment project portfolio.

 

We are looking for a candidate that preferably has previous experience in the sport and entertainment industry, though we are open-minded as to applicants with a variety of backgrounds.  The position may be suited to –

• a Paralegal seeking a more varied role for their professional development;
• a qualified Legal Practitioner that no longer wants to operate under billing targets, though is keen to stay in the legal industry;
• a commercial or legal professional that is looking to return to work in a part-time capacity within a dynamic environment; and/or
• a post-graduate level student who is capable of managing a part-time role in conjunction with personal studies.

 

Preferred work commitment will be –  

·        Part-time load of 19 hours per week - equivalent to 50% of the standard 38 hour week.

·        Ideally to be taken over three working days - with two days of 10am to 4pm and one day of 10am to 5pm.
