Announcement: 2021 Byron Bay ANZSLA Conference
The ANZSLA Board and 2021 Conference Organising Committee (COC) has been monitoring the Covid-19 situation in New South Wales and has considered the impact of current restrictions and uncertainty on the October conference.
It has become clear that we cannot now deliver the excellent conference we had planned in October. ANZSLA is very disappointed about this as a well-supported and high standard conference was ready to go. However, we are delighted to announce that the 2021 Conference will not be cancelled but will instead be postponed until early 2022.
The new dates for the ANZSLA conference at Crystalbrook Byron are 30 March to 1 April 2022 and we look forward to welcoming you to Byron Bay then. The conference programme will be updated to ensure currency but most of the sessions remain unchanged. We are very appreciative of all presenters and conference sponsors for their ongoing support and understanding. All conference registrations will be held and carried across to the new dates, as will all accommodation bookings at Crystalbrook Byron. If you have registered and will be unable to attend on the new dates, you are entitled to a full refund of your conference registration. Conference Innovators will be in touch with registered delegates shortly to provide further details.
In the meantime, ANZSLA continues to offer its high-quality webinar programme for members, with leading industry experts discussing some of the most relevant and thought-provoking sports law topics.
ANZSLA is also hopeful of being able to proceed with its plans to conduct a conference in Queenstown, New Zealand in October 2022.
Further details about the ANZSLA Conference in Byron Bay will follow shortly but, in the meantime, keep well - and we look forward to welcoming you to Byron Bay in March 2022.
